I don’t think it’s anything but some morons researching the frightening history of that mark and marking up a wall to scare and intimidate others. If the tables were turned (if whoever did it was of pure blood), would they be as frightened or scared of repercussions, of history possibly repeating itself? I, for one, love being a wizard. Things change, lives change. Magic is a gift.

…Quidditch practice is going pretty well. I know I need to get my broom kit replenished. Gwen is looking pretty beat up right now. I can’t wait until our first game. I was going to ask Colin to take pictures so I could send them to Mum and Dad.
